Ben's Christmas Break

December 23, 2014 One day during Christmas break, my family and I went to our grandparent's home for Christmas. It was a very fun time. But first, my family and I got there at 7:30 p.m. When we arrived, I frosted sugar cookies with my cousins and ate dinner. I went to bed hoping that the next day would be a really good day. It was. December 24, 2014 The next day we watched television and had breakfast. We had a very good time. I played downstairs with my very fun cousins. We talked and shot fake guns. We had lunch and ate sandwiches. Then we played again. Then we talked about stuff, like weird boys. We played grandma's marble game. It was really fun, and I won! I played with my cousins again and again--mostly Abigale. And then we had a big dinner--we had layered raspberry jello, potatoes, shrimp, and salad. I ate the most shrimp of all the cousins. I had 18 pieces. When we were done eating, we went downstairs and watched Scooby-Doo Christmas while the adults ate. Before bed, we gathered together and grandpa read Luke 2--the scriptures that tell about Jesus' birth. We opened up one present. Everyone got new, matching pajamas, and we went to bed, hoping we would get a lot of presents the next day for Christmas. December 25, 2014 When I woke up, I had to wait in bed because we couldn't get out of bed until 7 o' clock. When it was 7, we lined up at the stairs, and then went down. I got a lot of presents--a hockey stick, legos, dodge balls, and other stuff. Then, we went to the other room to open up presents from our family. My sister Eliza got to open up the first one. I had gotten her a pink football, which she really, really liked. And then we played with all of our presents and ate breakfast.
